Static Pile Analysis Module

Finite‑element modeling program for soil structure interaction problems

Module Description

Static Pile Analysis is a finite-element modeling program for soil-structure interaction problems.

While often used to determine behavior of a pile, the program can also be used to analyze poles/posts, sheet piles, walls and just about any other structure that relies on lateral soil support and/or skin friction for stability.

Advanced features include plastic behavior of the soil, skin friction and lateral subgrade reaction that varies with depth.

Technical Specifications

  • Powered by a true finite‑element engine that captures realistic soil–structure interaction, not oversimplified spring models.
  • Handles far more than piles — analyze poles, posts, sheet piles, and any structure relying on lateral soil support or skin friction.
  • Packs advanced nonlinear behavior into an interface so simple it uses only three input dialogs, keeping engineers fast and focused.
  • Models skin friction, depth‑dependent slip thresholds, nonlinear horizontal subgrade modulus, soil plastic limits, and tip stiffness for accurate real‑world behavior.
  • Accepts vertical loads, horizontal loads, and moments at the pile top, plus load stepping to reveal when nonlinear behavior begins.
  • Generates clear deflection profiles, moment diagrams, shear diagrams, and load‑deflection curves for every load step.
  • Exports displacement and moment plots to DXF, making documentation and review effortless.
  • Produces polished Word‑compatible RTF reports, ensuring long‑term accessibility and clean submittals.
  • Flexible US/metric units, user‑defined defaults, and a simple one‑file project structure.
  • Sold as a stand‑alone tool — no need to buy a full structural suite just to analyze a pile.
